044: Bacon and Megs on Addressing Eating Disorders, Plateaus and Health With a Ketogenic Diet

Meg spent her entire childhood and young adult life overweight or obese. Her weight loss journey began in 2011 at 25 years old when she was over 300 pounds, and had been experiencing symptoms of type two diabetes. She started just counting calories and lost 80lbs in her first seven or so months. Meg found out about keto about a year after starting her weight loss journey and has been LCHF ever since. She has lost a total of 192lbs – 60% of her body weight – which she has maintained since May of 2017.

Meg has overcome a binge eating disorder. Exercise and eating well are essential parts of her self-care routine. She hopes to continue to contribute in ways that support anyone who struggles as she have.
